(Bennett and Elton enter their publishers office)
Publisher: Look guys its good its good but it's a bit long, no?
Bennett: You don't understand man. We can't say all we need to say in just THREE volumes. We're on the verge of a break through.
Elton: COME ON! Would you stifle the creativity of Joyce or Nabokov that way?
Publisher: Alright you can go onto the fourth, but only because America loves corn milling.
